I updated the WordPress software last night, and it includes a new default theme. The original one is working fine, but I’m going to experiment with the new one anyways.
Edit: One thing about the new WordPress is that the “Jetpack” tools have an option where the traditional pagination is replaced by whatever it’s called when new posts continually load as you scroll down. This new theme has this setting on default, and I’m not sure you can change it back. I don’t care about it one way or the other, but when you’re scrolling down a specific category or a specific author, for example, instead of loading new posts in that category it will load new posts by publishing date (as if you were scrolling down the index page). This is obviously some type of unintended flaw, but I can’t “complain” on WordPress’ forums, because their people don’t get back to me on my inability to log in (I apparently have two accounts attached to the same email, and I can’t recover my password until this issue is solved) — it’s been less than a day, so, again, this isn’t a complain; I just need to get on this, as well.
